Keep It Self Storage contacted us to create this 360° virtual tour in June 2021, amid the new wave of covid-19 spread in Bangkok. They were looking for a new and unique way to present a realistic representation of this allotted space to their prospective clients since traditional onsite tours were no longer the most preferred option.

That was the main goal: to allow customers to pick and choose lockers that they prefer without having to come to the physical location; and secondly becoming one of the first self-storage to adopt this technology for the future.

As the situation of the global pandemic restricted options and resources available to businesses, we now see that those that triumphs during this challenging period have been the ones that were able to adapt to the new normal completely. Such realignment includes adopting new tools and integrating unconventional media such as the 360° virtual tour to engage viewers with excitement, allowing the potential clients to have a genuine overall impression of the brand with immersive VR.

On the production side, we captured all 360 panoramas in this virtual tour in just a few hours using a renowned 360 camera, Ricoh Theta Z1. In addition, our photographer used exposure bracketing to capture interior shots that feature windows to capture the most suitable dynamic range.

As Keep It already has its own hosting space, we decided that a standard 360° virtual tour (2D) would be the most practical for their space, aligned with their requirements, and suitable for their usage.
